Romeo
Trisha, now having a baby to care for, feels that it is time for her to sell Romeo and would really like him to stay at Stonehaven Farms. She is offering Romeo at a reduced rate of $1700. to keep in at this barn. Romeo is approximately 15 years old and appears to be in very sound condition. However, we know he can be challenging to ride at times, but he does have a lot of riders that really enjoy him. Because he is enjoyed in the Stonehaven Lesson Program, we are offering a reduced board for any rider who is interested in purchasing Romeo. He is currently used 2 – 3 times a week in the lesson program. If he were stabled indoors we would be able to reduce his boarding rate to $460. which includes up to 3 lessons per week. If you would like a cheaper board, he can be boarded with the school horses in a full turn out. You would receive one lesson per week with the board, and additional weekly lessons for $40. per month (approx. $10. per lesson). That boarding rate would be $300. per month. Other expenses of owning a horse that you would incur are: Bi monthly wormer at $10. – $15. every other month; 2. Farrier work – $32. once every 8 – 10 weeks; 3. Vaccinations 2 times a year approx $60. - $80. each time, and coggins $40. once a year. Please call if you have any further questions.
